Grats to our raiders on our 1st "guild-only" Z'A Bear run success!!!

For those that don't know, what has come to be known as "the bear run" is a special in game event that requires you to kill the 1st 4 bosses of the 10 man raid-zone, Zul'Aman, in 45 mins or less to unlock all 4 timed chests This event is one of the most challenging in the game and is basically a gear and skill check for the 10 raiders that try to accomplish it. Benevolence has begun organizing "Bear runs" for our members and quite recently a gathering of 10 of our most stalwart raiders was finally able to accomplish this task! Congratulations!

Now the only question begging to be asked.....why would a druid, yes I said DRUID, who can shapeshift into a variety of forms - one of which is a BEAR want a bear mount? In any case, congratulations goes out to Vinna for winning Benevolence's 1st full guild bear mount.

As summer comes to an end and the leaves begin to turn, the membership of Benevolence begins to refocus our efforts and set some goals prior to the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

Instead of concentrating on T6 zone attempts, Black Temple and Mt. Hyjal, our raid leaders and officers have chosen to set a goal of 100% completion of the T5 content before the WotLK release. Because of our concerted efforts in T5 zones, this agenda leaves ONLY 2 bosses in our sights, Lady Vashj (Serpentshrine cavern) and Kael'Thas Sunstrider (Tempest Keep: The Eye).

We have started attempts on Vashj and we have been quite successful with getting her into phase2 and staying alive long enough to "see" enough of the orbs to shut down her shields and move to phase3. We just need to buckle down and get out her out of phase2.

Kael'Thas attempts will begin soon!

In other news, many of our members have received WotLK beta invites and are beginning the testing and evaluation phases of the new expansion. As always, our members are more than forthcoming with information, news, screenshots and more so that everyone can be as informed and ready as possible as we push into Northrend and face even greater challenges once WotLK launches.
