And from the ashes of our 9% wipe on A'lar, the Phoenix god, last week - we rose yet again to make the walls of Tempest Keep rattle with our presence!

THIS TIME, THE BIRD GOT IT'S WINGS CLIPPED!

With an exuberant and collective exhale, the guild led by Ebonleaf and Malediction FINALLY downed the phoenix! This boss, more than any other in recent months, has given us a run for our money......now it's our turn to collect!

We are now officially 3 of 4 bosses down in Tempest Keep. Along with recent successes in SSC, we are now fully progressed through Tier 5 content with only the ZONE bosses, Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas, left to conquer.

Whether you will be celebrating with friends at a backyard bbq, quietly in-front of a TV, at a bar or out somewhere enjoying one of the thousands of fireworks displays across our nation - when you look to the skies and celebrate our nation's independence, take a moment to quietly thank those that keep us safe and allow us the freedom to celebrate. Though we may forget from time to time when we get too caught up in the here, the now and the "me" - it's important to take a moment and thank those that allow us the ability to continue to celebrate and enjoy our freedoms.

To those that are actively participating in our nation's defense and to those that did so at some point in the past - THANK YOU! This day is as much a celebration of our nation's freedoms as it is a celebration of your sacrifices to protect those freedoms.

What started as a 3 boss night in SSC (Leo, Lurker and Hydross down) turned into another surprise fun run into "The Caverns of Time: Hyjal Summit" for some more practive and stress-release on the Rage Winterchill encounter.

Surprisingly....or should I say, knowing this group, NOT so surprisingly, we downed Rage on our 1st attempt of the night!!! It was probably the most fun event most of us have attended in a long time since we were just letting it fly and hanging loose.

Unfortunately, though quite hilarious, left standing at the end of the encounter....a tank and a mage! Bandage skills FTW!However, this photographer caught them red-handed trying to divide up the loot amongst themselves!

On a more serious note though, we did group up and get an official 1st kill, guild screenshot with Jaina Proudmore! Thanks again to Malediction and Ebonleaf for their efforts and leading us to much deserved success!
