As is often the case with this rag-tag group of folks, we have extraordinary nights of raiding. Sometimes we surprise ourselves with an off-beat strat to a boss we had problems with and other times something hilariously funny happens. But tonight....we showed what we are made of and took our Ulduar-25 boss kill count from 1 to 4. Thats right....3 new boss kills, all in one night!

And as a side note, it was a pleasure making this post. I have never posted in 1st person on the blog as I always felt I was the voice of the entire guild when I would report our goings-on, wish folks a happy (insert holiday) or just put up a reminder for something. But tonight, with this post, I am ending a 4 year run of handling the frontpage blog for the guild (first with Harmony of Souls and now with Benevolence.

It has been an extreme privilege and honor to have had these duties and to have, hopefully, never stepped beyond my bounds nor to have jeopardized the trust given to me by the members of the guild in representing our "image" or "life" to the outside world.

Thank you for the honor, the many years of allowing me to do this and most importantly.....providing me with more than enough material, however funny, poignant, news-worthy or grounding that material may have been.

Patch 3.1 hits, people are dual-spec'ing and everyone is excited to try out the new raid instance, Ulduar. Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell Brann Bronzebeard to leave the gates to Ulduar unlocked before he ventured inside......

Hopefully Blizzard fixed things and we can get our 25man Raid ID for Ulduar off the ground and inside the instance!!!

Our crack raiders did it yet again this week!!!! Two more guild firsts to notch on our bedposts! These two fights have been thorns in our side for a few weeks now but on Thursday, 2.26.09, the thorns were removed! Grats to all who participated!
