The decrepit tower of Karazhan once housed one of the greatest powers Azeroth has ever known: the sorcerer Medivh,the last Guardian of Tirisfal. Since his death, a terrible curse has pervaded the tower and the surrounding lands. The spirits of nobles from nearby Darkshire reportedly walk its halls, suffering a fate worse than death for their curiosity. More dangerous spirits wait within Medivh's study, for it was there that he summoned demonic entities to do his bidding. However, the brave and foolish are still relentlessly drawn to Karazhan, tempted by rumors of unspeakable secrets and powerful treasures. Forge a group of ten stalwart heroes, and journey to the tower in Deadwind Pass............

Ya know, Silli led events are always fun. Lots of laughing, joking around and good times to be had by all but when Silli put out the call for a Shadow Lab group.....boy oh boy.....Silli events have hit a new high in the fun factor.



We entered thinking everything was going to go smoothly. Todak, Liandroa, Solariaa(played by Theo), Silli and Nierra started rocking their way through to the 1st boss - NO PROBLEM. Feeling confident....we started working our way to the 2nd boss. Assassins jumping Sola, Silli breaking his own sheep, Nierra not being rdy and just total mayhem breaks out!!!!

Finally we engage the 2nd Boss.....OMFG....19 1/2 minutes, YES I SAID 19.5 MINUTES (a new record?) later he dies. What started out as a frustrating fight became annoying then humorous then downright gut-busting laughter. Good news, you can run back into the zone and re-engage the boss ala Rajaxx. Bad news, he MAY try to chase you down at the entrance leaving the others standing right in front of him alone. Hmmm.....BANDAGE TIME!

And at the end when we popped the corpse........F'ing DROOD GLOVES!

Well we wiped our tears of laughter from our face and started working our way to Bosses #3 & #4. Silli, under advisement from Liandroa spell steals and quickly becomes a DOG! All the while, laughing and claiming, "THIS IS THE WORST BUFF EVER". Yet he keeps doing it and laughing every time. Good news, Boss #3 dies. Even better news, we nailed a repeatable strat!!!

Murmur is next. We take a couple stabs at him and just can't quite nail it. Nierra has to leave so we ask Khama to come tank it for us (you need the charge ability!). Good news, we ONE SHOT him with Khama tanking. Better news, we 3-man him down with just melee dmg....Lian, Todak and Khama!!!!!

And the best news of all......Silli goes over to get the "1st Key fragment" for the Karazhan quest, loots the container and POOF an elemental spawns and Silli dies yet again..proclaiming about this own death. "WHAT A KICK IN THE NUTS"

Bottom line: If you go with Silli on a raid......expect fun times, lots of laughter, unique strategies for attacking bosses but most important.....don't think that when you start @ 9pm you will be done by 11pm. Our official end time: 1:45am.
